Principles – Honor

Showing respect to others is a fundamental aspect of demonstrating honor. When parents not only speak but also act in a manner that respects each other, it can significantly strengthen the bond with their children. Parents who demonstrate honor build trust and lay a strong foundation for their children. As children learn about the importance of honor and witness their parents demonstrating this principle, they are more inclined to act honorably as well.

These questions are designed to help families talk, listen, and grow together.

  7. What happens to trust in a family when honor is missing?
  8. Can you honor someone even if you don’t always agree with them? How?
  9. How does showing honor to others influence the way people see your character?
